There are 24 balls in a large bin. Two out of every three are basketball. The rest are footballs. How many basketballs are in the bin?

    You should be able to divide 24 by 3, getting 8, and then you can multiply that by 2 and get 16. Therefore, there should be 16 Basketballs in a bin of 24 balls.
