    N increased by 75% is (1 + 0.75) n = 1.75n.

    n decreased by 75% is (1 - 0.75) n = 0.25n.

    (n increased by 75%) decreased by 75% is 0.25 (1.75n) = 0.4375n = (1 - 0.5625) n

This is a decrease of 56.25% from the original number.
