An acute equilateral triangle can be divided in half with a segment from a vertex to the middle of the opposite side. What type (s) of triangles are formed? What are the angle measures of the two new triangles?

    You make two right angled triangles. Their angles are 60-30-90, because you're splitting one 60 angle in half and adding a right angle.
