A storage area measures 12 feet 6 inches in width by 16 feet in length by 8 feet 3 inches in height. If it is 4/5 full, how many cubic feet of storage space remains (rounded to the nearest cubic foot) ?

    1 ft = 12 in

    1 ft e 6 in = 18 in

    largura = 18 in

    comprimento = 16 in

    altura = 8 ft + 3 in = 96 in + 3 in = 99 in

    volume = 18*16*99

    volume = 28512 in³

    4/5 * 28512 = (4*28512) / 5 = 22809,5 in³ (cheio)

    1/5 * 28512 = 28512/5 = 5702,4 (vazios)
