The first step is to distribute. Multiply each number inside the parentheses by - 6.
7b + (-6*11) + (-6*-2b) = 10
7b - 66 + 12b = 10
Now combine like terms.
19b - 66 = 10
Add 66 to both sides.
19b = 76
Divide both sides by 19.
b = 4
