Jovie is maintaining a camp fire. She has kept the fire steadily burning for 101010 hours with 151515 logs. She wants to know how many hours (h) (h) left parenthesis, h, right parenthesis she could have kept the fire going with 999 logs. She assumes all logs are the same.     We can calculate this by using below expressions;

    101,010 hrs / 151,515 logs = x / 999 logs

    100,908,990 logs. hrs / 151,515 logs = x

    666 hrs = x

    In every, 999 logs Jovie can fire steadily for 666 hrs.

    To check this we can use below figures:

    151,515 logs / 999 logs = 151. 67 logs or 101,010 hrs / 666 hrs = 151.67 hrs. This leads to a conclusion that all logs are the same.
