There were 60 seventh grade students who signed up for a soccer tryouts last year. this year, 48 seventh grade students sign up for tryouts. what is the percent decrease in the number of students from last year to this year show your work

    It's a 20% decrease.

    First you have to subtract: 60-48=12

    Then you have to divide: 12/60 to get. 2

    Then you multiply:.2 x 100=20

    The answer is 20%
