Imagine you have 318.9 million people and out of those people 23.5 million people cannot eat what is the percent of people who can not eat

    So, what is 23.5 over 318.9?

    if you want to know what percentage one number is of another, first you need to know what fraction of one number another number is, for this you have to divide the part by the whole: the part of people who can't eat over all the people.

    23.5/318.9=0.0736 ...

    and if we multiply it by 100, we have the precentage: 7.36% (approximately)
