Chandra wants to cover the entire face of the clock with a special gold foil.

She estimates that the angle formed by the hour hand and the minute hand of the clock is 60 degrees. She figures she will need 20 square inches of foil to cover the section bounded by those two hands. If Chandra's estimates are correct, how many square inches of foil will she need to cover the entire face of the clock?

    120 square inches because a circle is 360 degrees so there will be 6 60 degree sections in it and each 60 degree section needs 20 square inches to cover it so 6 x 20 = 120
