    Set the Ys equal to eachother them solve for X

    3x-13=-4x+1

    +13 to both sides

    3x=-4x+14

    Add 4x to both sides

    7x=14

    Divide by 7 to both sides

    X=2

    Soluton 1: y - 3x = - 13

    solution 2: y + 4x = 1

    Graphic organizer: - 3x + y = - 13;

    4x + y = 1

    Y-intercept in solut9n 1

    -4 (x) + 1 - 3 (x) = - 13

    -7 (x) = - 14

    7 (x) = 14

    X-intercept in the first solution would equal to 2

    Y-intercepts in both of solutions:

    -4 (2) + 1

    -8. + 1

    = - 7

    Your answer for the y-intercept would have to be - 7

    X-intercept: 2 ⬅this what you're looking for Y-intercept: - 7
