    4p + 2q = 8

    Q=2p+1

    4p + 2 (2p + 1) = 8

    4p + 4p + 2=8

    8p = 6

    P=3/4

    Substituting p=3/4 into the first equation

    4 (3/4) + 2q = 8

    3+2q = 8

    2q=5

    Q=5/2
