Tina had 9/10 yard left from a yard of fabric. She now uses 1/5 yard of fabric for one project and 1/10 yard for a second project. How much of the original yard of fabric does Tina have left after the 2 projects?

    1/5 is equal to 2 / 10. so subtract 2/10 from original 9/10 to get 7/10. then subtract the other 1/10 and you end up with 6/10 fabric left

    2/10+1/10=3/10

    9/10-3/10=6/10

    Answer 6/10 or 3/5
