Suppose your on a game show and there were three doors. You pick a door then the host opens another door with a goat inside. He asks you if you are going to switch or keep with this door. If you switch, it has a better chance of winning. Can anybody explain why?

    You will have a better chance of winning because your chance before you opened the first door was 1/3 (since there was 3 doors) but now, you have 2 doors left, so it is a 50% chance that you will win.
