For what values of x is the area of the rectangle greater than the perimeter?

the shortest sides are both 7, while the longer sides are x+2

    Area = 7 (x + 2) = 7x + 14

    Perimeter = 2 (7 + x + 2) = 2 (9 + x) = 18 + 2x

    7x + 14 > 18 + 2x

    7x - 2x > 18 - 14

    5x > 4

    x > 4/5
