To make one costume, Rachel uses 6 yards of material in 3 yards of trim. Suppose she uses a total of 48 yards of material to make several costumes. How many yards of trim does she use? Write the rule you used to find the number of yards of trim.

    6 yard of material = 3 yards of trip

    the rule is divide by 2 because 6 divided by 2 is 3

    if Rachel has 48 yards, you're gonna use the rule and divide that by 2 and get 24 which is the answer

    Rachel uses 24 yards of trim
