Weight of Jar of pennies=84.96 ounces

weight of jar of nickels=3.11 kg

    but 1 ounce=0.0283495 kg

thus the weight of jar of pennies when converted into Kgs we shall have:

    (84.96*0.0283495) = 2.40857352 kg

Hence we conclude that the Jar of nickels is heavier than the jar of pennies by:

    (3.11-2.40857352) = 0.70142648 kg
