    The supplement of an angle is the angle that, when added to the origonal angle, the sum is 180

    complementary is 2 angles that add to 90

    supplementary is 2 angles that add up to 180 so

    7+x=180

    subtract 7 from both sides

    x=173

    the angle is 173

    The answer is 173 degrees. Proof:

    Supplementary angles add up to 180 degrees,

    so to find the answer do 180-7=173 degrees
