2y-4x=2, y = - 1x+4 solve by substitution

    X=1 Y=3

    Plug in the - 1x+4 in the first equation for y and solve since y = - 1x+4 solve you'll get x=1 then plug that back in for x in the second equation and solve you'll get y=3
