    How to solve for 3x-5y = 9

    where; x = - 1, 0, 1

    (x=-1, y = - 2.4); (x=0, y = - 1.8) (x=1, y = - 1.2)

    in x = - 1 in x = 0 in x = 1

    3 (-1) - 5y = 9 3 (0) - 5y = 9 3 (1) - 5y = 9

    -3-5y = 9 - 5y = 9 3-5y = 9

    -5y = 9+3 - 5 - 5 5y = 9-3

    -5y = 12 (cancel - 5) 5y = 6

    -5 - 5 y = - 1.8 5 - 5

    (cancel - 5) (cancel - 5)

    y = - 2.4 y = - 1.
