Shift y = 5√x + 3 horizontally 2 units to the right and stretched by a factor of 3 (stretched vertically about the fixed y=3 line).

    Horizontal shift 2 uniits to the right gives

    y = 5 sqrt (x - 2) + 3

    Then a vertical stretch factor 3 gives

    y = 3[5sqrt (x-2) + 3)

    or y = 15sqrt (x - 2) + 9
