How do you find B or area of the base for a rectangular prism

    Assume that the base=legnth times width and height is vertical height

    so the area of the base = legnth times width

    You take the dimensions of the rectangular prism, and you choose one side (in this case the base) and you multiply length by width just like you would to find the area of a rectangle or square.
