    (x+1/3) - (x+2/2x)

    (2x^2+2x/6x) - (3x+6/6x)

    (2x^2+2x-3x-6) / 6x

    Final answer-

    (2x^2-x-6) / 6x

    (x+1) / 3 - (x+2) / (2x) Since the least common denominator is 6x

    [2x (x+1) - 3 (x+2) ] / (6x)

    (2x^2+2-3x-6) / (6x)

    (2x^2-3x-4) / (6x)

    So the numerator is 2x^2-3x-4
