    we can answer this by using ratios.

    andy = A

    ben = B

    claire = C

    ben gets tree times as much as andy

    A : B : C

    1 : 3 : C

    claire gets twice as much as ben

    1 : 3 : 6

    1 + 3 + 6 = 10

    there are 10 parts altogether.

    54/10 = 5.4 (£5.40)

    1 part = £5.40

    claire has 6 parts. £5.40*6 = £32.40

    claire gets £32.40
