What are the solutions to the equation |2x - 3| + 4 = 17?

    First you'd subtract 4 from both sides.

    This would give you the equation 2x-3=13

    Next, you'd subtract 3 from both sides.

    This would give you the equation 2x=10

    So then you'd divide 10 by 2 and get 5!

    x=5 is your answer!
