Water flows at a rate of 9000 cubic inches per minute into a cylindrical tank. the tank has a diameter of 144 inches and a height of 72 inches. what is the height, in inches, of the water in the tank after 10 minutes? round your answer to the nearest tenth.

    V = π*r^2*h

    (9000 in^3/min) * (10 min) = π * (72 in) ^2*h

    h = (90,000 in^3) / (5184π in^2) ≈ 5.5 in
