    Let second no is x

    Then 1st no is 8+x

    6 times to the 1st no is 6 * (8+x)

    Then second no is 2x-12

    Then the equation is

    6 * (8+x) = 2x-12

    48+6x=2x-12

    6x-2x=-48-12=-60

    4x=-60

    X=-60/4=-15

    Then 1st no is - 15+8=-7

    2nd no is - 15

    X=-7

    y=-15

    Step-by-step explanation:

    6 (y+8) = 2y-12

    6y+48=2y-12

    6y-4y=2y and - 48+-12=-60

    4y=-60

    y=-15

    x=-7
