Randy has two 28 pound blocks of ice for his snow cone stand. if each snow cone requires 2/3 pound of ice, how many snow cones can randy make

    He can make 18 and then he wouldn't have enough to make that 19th. You just take 28 and multiply it by 2, then divide it by 3. Or just multiply 28 by 2/3

    28 / 2/3 = 42. You know this is right because 2/3 is less than one, so he must be able to make more than 28. Randy can make 42 snow cones.
