The average temperature at the South Pole is - 47º F. The average temperature on the Equator is 86º F. How much warmer is the average temperature on the Equator than at the South Pole?

    -47 to 0 = 47

    0 to 86 = 86

    47 + 86 = 133 degrees warmer
