Marika and her three friends attended the school play tickets cost $5.75 each and Marika paid for everyone. Find the total cost of the tickets. Justify your answer by using the distributive property.

    You would need to multiply 5.75 to 4 since Marisa has 3 friends and she still has to pay for herself ... so it would turn the number to 4
