Y = 1/3x + 3 ... slope is 1/3. A parallel line will have the same slope.
y = mx + b
slope (m) = 1/3
(2,0) ... x = 2 and y = 0
now we sub and find b, the y int
0 = 1/3 (2) + b
0 = 2/3 + b
-2/3 = b
so ur parallel equation is : y = 1/3x - 2/3
