stacy buys 3 cds in a set for $29.98. She save $6.44 by buying the set instead of buying the individual cds. if each cd costs the same amount, how much does each of the 3cds cost when purchased individually

    Add $29.98 and $6.44 together and divide by 3. The answer is $12.14 each CD when purchased individually.

    29.98 + 6.44 = 36.42 (cost with out the discount)

    36.42/3 = 12.14
