Both area and volume, in a vague way, can be seen as the measurement of the size of something. They are different because area is the size of a two-dimensional shape (like a square or a triangle), and volume is the size of a three-dimensional shape (like a cube or a pyramid).

Volume is where you find the volume of an object using Length*width*height.
Area is when you find the area using length*height
Volume is when you calculate 3D shapes
Area is when you calculate 2D Shapes
