To find the area of the flower garden, you can find the Total Garden Area and subtract the area of regular garden

    Total Garden Area = (18' + 10") * (14'+10") = (216"+10") * (168" + 10") = 226"*178" = 40228 square inches

Now find the normal garden area and subtract: 216" * 168" = 36288 square in ...

    40228-36288 = 3940

    A. 3940in^2

    B. 40228in^2 = 3352.3ft^2
