    The greatest length is the gcf of 52 and 64.

    52 = 2 x 2 x 13

    64 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2

    gcf = 2 x 2 = 4

    Therefore, the greatest length of the pieces that can be made = 4 inches
