A beluga whale is 5 yards and 3 inches long, and a gray whale is 15 yards and 5 inches long. What is the difference in length between the two whales?

    10 yards and 2 inches because:

    15 yards minus 5 yards equals 10 yards

    5 inches minus 3 inches equals 2 inches

    Therefore the answer is as states above.
