A frequency table of grades has five classes (a, b, c, d, f) with frequencies of 44 , 1515 , 1818 , 66 , and 11 respectively. what are the relative frequencies of the five classes?

    Total frequency = 44 + 1515 + 1818 + 66 + 11 = 3454.

    Calculate relative frequencies, to the nearest thousandth.

    Class a:

    44/3454 = 0.0127

    Answer: 0.013

    Class b:

    1515/3454 = 0.4386

    Answer: 0.439

    Class c:

    1818/3454 = 0.5263

    Answer: 0.526

    Class d:

    66/3454 = 0.0191

    Answer: 0.019

    Class f:

    11/3454 = 0.0032

    Answer: 0.003
