Chef Alonso is creating a recipe with the following ingredients: 1 pound of chicken, 3 1/3 cups of tomato sauce, 1 1/3 teaspoons of oregano and 2/3 teaspoons of his special hot sauce. The chef only has three measuring spoons: 1 teaspoons, 1/2 teaspoon and 1/4 teaspoon. Can he measure the amounts of hot sauce and oregano exactly? Explain your answer.

    No, he cannot measure the amounts of hot sauce neither oregano because for it to be exact he would need a 1/3 teaspoon for it to work. No matter what, nothing would work to get the exact measurements, like I stated before, he would need a 1/3 teaspoon to get it exact. So he needs to go to the store to make his recipe or he needs to change the measurements to fit with what he has. He could still measure it but it would not be exact.
