    You can make a factor tree to do this. 448 is the start. It is divisible by 2. 448 divided by 2 = 224. Then do it again to get 112, with two 2's back. Divide it by 2 one more time to get 56. Now, divided it by 2 again to get 28. Now, you have 4 2's. Divide by 2 two more times to get 14 and then 7. 7 is prime, and you have 6 2's left, so your answer is 2^6 x 7

    Start with the smallest prime number and work your way until the end

    448=2• 224 = 2•2•112 = 2•2•2•56 = 2•2•2•2•28 = 2•2•2•2•2•14 = 2•2•2•2•2•2•7
