If f (x) = 3x - 2 and g (x) = 2x+1 fine (f-g) (x)

    (f - g) (x) = x - 3

    note (f - g) (x) = f (x) - g (x)

    = 3x - 2 - (2x + 1) = 3x - 2 - 2x - 1 = x - 3
