Three boxes are stacked one on top of the other. One box is 3 feet 7 inches tall, one is 3 feet 10 inches tall, and one is 4 feet 9 inches tall. How high is the stack? Write your answer in feet and inches. Use a number less than 12 for inches.

    You add up the height off all the stacked boxes together. easiest to start with the inches first, 7+10+9 which is 26 inches. simplify that to 2 feet 2 inches. Then add the feet, 3+3+4 which is 10. Add the two sums together. So, the answer would be 12 feet and 2 inches
