    Both of the numerators are 2 and the demonator are 3 and 9 for every mile the person walks it takes 1/3 of the hour or 3/9

    He will go 3 miles per hour. You have to do 1/two ninths to figure out how to get from two ninths to 1. You have to multiply by 4.5. Then multiply 4.5 to the 2/3, and you get 3. Your ratio is then 3:1, meaning 3 miles in one hour
