Evaluate - 3+i / 3 + 3i and express as a simplified complex number ...

(I thought the answer would be ... - 1/3 + 2i/3 ... But I think it has to be like ... a + bi or a*e^ (bi) ...)

    -1/3 + 2i/3 is correct. Maybe your teacher wants it as - 1/3 + (2/3) i to make it more clear it's in a+bi form where a = - 1/3 and b = 2/3.
