    3 feet

    Step-by-step explanation:

If there are 6 boxes in each layer, there are 3 layers to have a total of 18 boxes, each of which is 1 cubic foot.

Three layers of boxes that are 1 ft high will be 3 ft high.

The height of the freezer space is 3 feet.
