The probability is 6/15 because there is 6 in fielders out of all of the people

    Answer: 0.086

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Total number of pitcher = 15 - (2 + 6 + 4)

Total number of pitcher = 3

    Now,

probability that out of two players chosen at random they would be a pitcher and an infielder

    = (3 / 15) * (6 / 14)

    = 0.086

First of all, probability of getting pitcher will be (3 / 15). Since, you have already chosen one pitcher, the remaining total men will be 14. So, probability of getting infielder will be (6 / 14).
