2 to the 10 power in standard form

    Basically, powering something is multiplying something by itself.

    so, 2 to the power of 10 is 1024

    why? because

    2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 = 1024

    (see? I multiplied 2 10 times!)
