    Pemdas or parenthesis, exponets, multiply or divide what ever comes first, add then subtract

    10 divided by 2 is 5, 6-2=4 therefore: 5x^4 and 8 divided by 2=4 and 4-2=2 therefore 4x^2, so the answer = 5x^4 + 4x^2
