What is the intercepts of y=4x-2

    Simple,

    The Y inctercept.

    To find the Y intercept we know x=0 because the graph crosses the y axis when x axis is 0 so.

    Y=4x-2

    Y=4 (0) - 2

    Y=-2 y interecpt is - 2

    The x intercept.

    To find the X intercept we know y=0 because the graph crosses the x axis when y axis is 0 so.

    Y=4x-2

    0=4x-2

    2=4x

    2/4 = x x intercept is 2/4 or 0.5
