A customer enters a store and purchases a pair of slippers for 5 dollars. He pays with a 20 dollar bill. The merchant asks the grocer next door for change. The merchant then gives the customer the slippers and 15 dollar change. The grocer discovers the 20 dollars is fake and tells the merchant to make good for it. The merchant does so. How much does he lose in this transaction?
