    5x+2y=237 (Equation 2)

    Extracting value of y from Equation 1

    y=81-x (Equation 3)

    Put value of y from Equation 3 in Equation 2

    5x+2 (81-x) = 237

    5x+162-2x=237

    3x=237-162

    3x=75

    x=25

    Putting value of x in Equation 3

    y=81-25

    y=56
