Kendra and Jeremy bought 10 gallons of gasoline at $3.26 per gallon. How much did Kendra and Jeremy pay for the gasoline?

    If you have questions like this, you have to multiply the number of things that are bought by their prize per things:

    so here the number is 10 gallons, and the prize is 3.26 per gallon.

    and the answer is 10*3.26, which is 32.6 (multiplying fractions by 10 means "moving" the perdioD by 1 to the right, a tip!)
